İpek Onmuş received Yenching Scholarship from Peking University for a Master’s Degree to study contemporary Chinese art. During her undergraduate studies, her research focused on illustration, picturebook studies, visual culture and Anatolian art. Her picturebook “A Long Way” was selected to be displayed at BASE 2017, a juried exhibition that brought together the works of newly graduated emerging artists of Türkiye.

Betul Gaye Dinc presented at IBBY 2018 in Greece. She currently works on her Master’s Degree at Artistic Research Studio (DTES program) at Koc University in Istanbul as a full-merit scholarship student. She is currently working with the Women’s Museum, Istanbul to introduce the narratives of female artists through comics. Comics and children’s literature are among her research interests.
Ilgım Veryeri Alaca is selected as a member of the advisory board for The Child and the Book Conference 2019. She received the International Youth Library Fellowship (Munich) in 2017.
Alumni Bilge Merve Aktaş (Artistic Research Studio-DTES program) conduct her practice-led doctoral research at Aalto University in craft and design production with case studies in felt making. Her research interests cover issues in craft, design, maker culture, and materiality.
